Visit of the old winery recovered and part converted into a wine museum. Tour of all the steps that our grapes follow from the vineyard to become magnificent wines. These include the 5 underground floors of its design by gravity. From the reception area through the current production area, to the bottle rack, where the magnificent XIX century aging room and the bottle crypt of the XV century stand out. Finalizing the visit in the tasting room where we will taste our wines with an aperitif.

Una bodega muy bonita con mucha historia. Nos enseñaron el proceso de elaboración de su vino desde un punto de vista histórico que nos permitió conocer la evolución del vino Rioja y del ciudad de Haro.
Por ultimo nos dieron a probar 5 de sus mejores vinos y nos enseñaron a hacer una cata para aprender a apreciar todos los matices que tiene el vino.
Nada que envidiar a otras bodegas mas grandes o con más renombre.
Totalmente recomendable.

This bodega is quite special in that it’s the oldest in town and slightly set apart from many of the others that are all clumped together in one area. As the winery is right in the old section of town, we got a short history of the area and how Haro got to be the wine capital of Rioja. The winery itself is a fascinating example of the vertical method of winemaking and the tour covers 5 stories from the caves to the rooftop, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscapes. The 5 wines we tasted were fantastic and our guide walked us through the tasting process like a true pro. This was truly a 5 star experience!

Excellent wine, excellent guide! It was very interesting to learn on wine history in Haro and this family in particular. The wine is also excellent, 5 tastings is a lot. And you get reserva and grand reserva as well. Open on Sunday as well.

Hicimos la visita en familia (hijos adolescentes) y lo pasamos muy bien. La bodega tiene muchas cosas que enseñar (calado, cueva, tinos, zona de barricas, prensa singular) en un edificio histórico de la calle de las bodegas (cuevas) originales de la ciudad en el mismo centro historico de Haro. La explicacion en muy amena y se hace muy entendible para todos. Se comprende el proceso de elaboración del vino, además de los hechos históricos de la zona y del vino en La Rioja. Muy didactico. No conocíamos sus vinos y alguno nos sorprendió muy gratamente. Se nos hizo corto. Un 10 por el esfuerzo de reinventarse de esta bodega.
